I decided to get back into model cars a little bit this winter. I finished up a 1955 Chevy Truck model a few weeks ago. I thought I would post up images and share them with you. I found this kit at a discount store for five bucks. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with that. The instructions for model kits used to give you a lot of background about the cars/trucks you were building. This kit didn’t provide much other then the fact it was a truck with a V8 engine. So I had to use my imagination and come up with my own specs.
Engine: Chevrolet Small-block V8, 383 Displacement, Edelbrock dress up kit.
Transmission: 4 speed muncie, with a Hurst truck shifter.
Ok, enough with the specs. You get the idea. But anyways. Below are some of the pictures of the finish product! Hosted the images using Flickr. Going to try to do more with my Flickr account. With the use of a few plugins for WordPress it makes it really easy to incorporate your Flickr profile in your WordPress Blog. Hopefully in the future, I’ll have some more pictures of model builds to show ya.
