Well looks like Bobby has met his match, Shawna. We named her after our real life friend Shawna. She is married to real life Bobby Dorris. Shawna enjoys art and baking. Kinda funny how LEGO included a large piece of bread with the mini-figure huh? Only one small detail LEGO. Ya forgot the blonde hair. But hey close enough! Shawna has done a lot of nice art pieces. Some are even featured here on this site. She’s currently pursuing a bachelors degree. Wish her and my wife Heather well with their finals!

Tonight’s LEGO advent calendar piece goes to show that it’s not all fun and games. Sometimes there is work to be done around the house. Like spiting logs for the fire. That’s where this handy dandy log sled comes into play. Although it looks like Dave may be making fun out of work any ways.

Checkout Bob in front of our new LEGO fireplace! Looks like LEGO brought this one out early in the set. Last year’s set had the fireplace on one of the last days. It’s a little bit different than last year’s too. I like the flame. One of the extra pieces was an extra flame. I may choose to include the flame in my forge set.

Looks like a little light on the mantle. Maybe a candle? Glade air freshener?

Mr. Snowman says “This is as far as I go. You will not catch me any closer to the flame!” Alright Mr. Snowman, you don’t have to worry. Back to the thing on the mantle what do you think it is? Comment and let us know!

Running a little late. Posting this on day 11. But anywho. Meet Bob! We named this one after our friend Robert Dorris. They surprising enough look the same. This set just keeps getting odder and odder. Bob comes with a brief case. According to the box, Bob would be the father role model. But let’s just pretend he’s just taller than the rest huh?
