How to Add Missions to Mystery Google/Seeker

Posted by Matt Kendrick on Saturday, 19 December, 2009

I’m sure you’ve heard about the recent online social fad Mystery Google/Seeker (whatever it’s called currently). I’ve seen several request on forums on, how to add missions to Mystery Google. It’s very simple. All you need to do is enter your mission in the search box on mysterygoogle.com. Example below.

Search: “Your mission: [whatever you what people to do here]”

It’s as simple as that. You’ll have people all over the world doing things you ask them to do! You can copy/paste and re-post over and over to inform more people about your mission. However do no over post. You will get blocked by the server. Google may even block you as well (suspecting spam or bot activity). Happy missions!

Do you have pets? We would like to, but we live in a small apartment. Our landlord only allows cats (de-clawed) and fish. Other words. “No Dogs Allowed!” So your mission this week is to send (email below) us pictures of your pet! Share them with us! Approved images will be added to this post. So send your pictures and details about your pet. Then come back later and see if your pet made the post! All pets are accepted!

My Mini City – Generate Traffic Game

My Mini City - Ale8oneville

My Mini City - Ale8oneville

My Mini City reminds me of Sim City, however you don’t really build anything. So how does your city grow? Simple, you give out a link and the more hits your city gets, the more it grows. However you have to generate a lot of traffic. Otherwise your city is going to remain small. You can also link to an RSS feed, that makes it easy to keep track of how your city is doing. We found out about it through mysterygoogle.com (awesome site). I decided to create “ALE8ONEVILLE” to honor my favorite soft drink ALE-8-ONE! If you would, visit Ale8oneville and give everyone a wave for me!

Mystery Google

Posted by Matt Kendrick on Wednesday, 18 November, 2009

Looking for something fun to try? Try out Mystery Google. Simply enter in something on the Google search box on the page and click submit. Rather than it return what your searching for, it returns what other people have submitted. An interesting way to pass random messages on to perfect strangers.

For example someone may ask you to call a number and sing a song. Be careful what you ask for, you may get want you want. Heather (my wife) and I are enjoying all the posts. For those who have found this page via http://www.mysterygoogle.com/ place your comments here! Till then catch ya laters!
