Are you a roller coaster fanatic? I know I am. I found this cool website, that’s geared toward coaster fans. CoasterFanatics.com is the most complete databases of roller coasters on the net. They have stats and ride information on hundreds of coasters from around the world. The site is extremely well organized. They have a lot features available to members and visitors. Registration is free and simple to do.

Once you’ve registered, you can track roller coasters you’ve ridden. You can share your ride reviews, trip logs, photos and video with other coaster fanatics too. There are a ton of photos and videos already posted. You can see how your favorite rides/parks rank among the community. You can rate coasters on your list as well. You can see posted wait times for your favorite rides. You can share your stats on blogs, forums and websites by copying the embed HTML code in your profile.

As you can see (from below), so far my count is up to 50. Last summer at Bush Gardens, I added the last few coasters, to set my count where it is now. Hoping this summer I can log some more. By the way, Williamsburg, VA is a great place for a honeymoon. Heather and I had a lot fun! Getting ready to celebrate our first anniversary! Till next time, remember! Stay in your seat till the ride comes to a complete stop. Keep all arms and legs inside the ride at all times. Do not ride if you’ve had recent surgery or if your pregnant. Don’t forget to check mattkendrick.com for daily posts!

Weekend Update – April 26th 2009

Posted by Matt Kendrick on Sunday, 26 April, 2009

This weekend, Heather and I stayed home. Yesterday we got out for a bit of tennis. Found a nearly deserted tennis court in a small park near downtown Richmond. Stumbled onto a small badminton birdie next to the net. Looks like someone must have tried to play badminton on a tennis court. That might not workout well unless you’re a munchkin. I was glad no one was around. I’m very new to the game. Not to mention a little clumsily. Heather showed me some tips. Hopefully next game won’t seem too much like golf (chasing a ball around all day).

After tennis we waited around for Catie and David to get home for a cookout. That was a blast, we stayed out all evening. Great weather we’re having. Dave cooked up some burgers and brats. Catie made some delved eggs. Heather made some cheese rolls. We played Phase 10. We let the kitties out for a little while. The cats loved that. By 11:00pm I was out of it. Sleepy.

This morning we opted to stay indoors. I went and got some Taco Bell. Best service from Taco Bell yet. The lady behind the counter was very nice. Our order was right. Kudos to Taco Bell of Richmond. Sorry… I rarely get good service from Taco Bell in Lexington. Then again the Taco Bell near work in Lex is a training store. Can’t expect the best from newbies. Wouldn’t be surprised if I got asked…

Trainee: “Would you like fries with that?”

No.. I don’t think Taco Bell serves fries. But never less every other fast food restaurant does. Anyways… Moving on. Heather’s been working on finishing up Lego: Indiana Jones for the Wii. Just as fun to watch as it is to play. I’ve been playing one of my favorite games of all time “Roller Coaster Tycoon.” You may see a post about that in a few days. Been 10 years since its first release in 1999. Yes, I’m playing a 10 year old game and loving it. Even though its been around for 10 years, I haven’t beat it yet. Maybe with time I will. Otherwise you’ll hear me blogging about it 10 more years from now. We’ll see.
